Celebrations that honor life and death are,
quite simply, those points in our lives when we intentionally take time to acknowledge something we value.
Cultures and traditions all over the world observe and celebrate life's transitions in one way or another; it’s what we humans have done since the origins of our species, and it is what we do best!
What this Seed has called me to do is to be available for the occasions that benefit from having an officiant and to be a part of a co-creative process that brings forward all that wants, all that needs, all that must, be expressed, be they cultural traditions and rituals, cyclical, annual, or seasonal celebrations, rights of passage, honoring birth and death; all of the myriad ways that life beckons us to stop our usual routines and pay special attention.
What I have to offer in this Seed
is to hold a container
for what it is that needs
to be held within it.
